Dr Francisco Gallardo is an Active-Duty Lieutenant Colonel of the US Air Force. He is a Maxillofacial Prosthodontist and recently served as the Chief of Prosthodontics, 99 th Dental Squadron in Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, NV. Dr Gallardo earned his B.S. in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Cell Biology from the University of California Los Angeles and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry in University of Southern California. He has a Master of Science in Dental Science and Prosthodontics from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed his Prosthodontics residency from the Air Force Postgraduate Dental School in Lackland AFB, San Antonio, Texas in 2016. He accomplished his Maxillofacial Prosthetics Fellowship from the Air Force Postgraduate Dental School and Brook Army Medical Center in Joint Base San Antonio, Lackland in 2021. He has been teaching dental residents since 2016. LtCol Gallardo is also an Associate Professor in Prosthodontics at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He has authored and co- authored a few journal articles on the topics of Cleft Lip and Palate, Dental implants, and Zirconia. He is currently enjoying an assignment in Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, NV.
