About Our In-House Dental Lab
At our Las Vegas office, the Dentist in Las Vegas, NV, uses 3D Cone Beam, also known as 3D X-Ray. This technology allows us the flexibility to capture a comprehensive scan of your entire mouth. Cone Beam Imaging is particularly helpful for treating orthodontic issues and implant placements. Dr. Ilya Benjamin provides precise, efficient, and comfortable teeth replacement for his patients. A digital impression scanner allows him to capture 3D impressions of patients’ teeth without the need for uncomfortable, messy impression material. In addition, the 3D technology can even help confirm the accurate placement of dental implants.Â
Our in-house lab makes it possible to deliver same-day crowns using CEREC technology. It eliminates the need for wearing temporary crowns, therefore, saving on cost and time. When bone grafting is required to establish a solid foundation for placing implants, Dr. Benjamin takes a tiny amount of the patient’s blood and spins it in the centrifuge machine. This separates platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), a naturally occurring growth factor. When applied to the graft area, PRF strengthens the existing jawbone, reduces inflammation, and accelerates the body’s natural healing process. PRF can also be injected into the gums to prevent patients who are on blood thinners from bleeding after tooth extraction.Â
We also provide mobile CT scanners to help our patients with the convenience of a mobile unit for taking detailed 3D X-rays of their mouth and jawbone. This makes virtual consultations and diagnostics as straightforward as possible for our patients. We meet people at their homes to collect all the data we need to plan for their NoMo Dentures treatment.Â
